Purchasing & RFP's

From time to time, Central Fire Protection District will release solicitations for bids, contracts, and RFP's for goods and services to be provided to the District.  Any pending opportunities for doing business with the District will be found on this page. Please see the content of each proposal for directions and guidance.

Central Fire Protection District of Santa Cruz County is currently accepting proposals from qualified professional painting firms for exterior painting services for our Administration building, Live Oak and Thurber Lane fire stations. A detailed RFP with scope of project is available below. 

A copy of the proposal must be submitted no later than the deadline of September 4, 2020 before 1 PM PST (postmarks not accepted). Proposals must be sealed and labeled on the outside of the package to clearly indicate that they are in response to the RFP. Submit sealed proposals by mail (no faxes or emails accepted) to:

The Central Fire Protection District of Santa Cruz County and the Aptos/LaSelva Fire Protection District are requesting bids for the purchase of portable VHF handheld radios to replace our current fleet of radios. With a purchase of this dollar value the Fire Districts require a formal bid process. 

Please review the specifications and provide a printed bid for review with terms of 60 days for purchase from acceptance. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with “Portable Radio Joint Purchase” clearly printed on the outside. Envelopes should be addressed as:

Any questions or further information needed can be requested via email to anthonyc@centralfpd.com. The deadline for bids to be submitted will be Monday, September 7, 2020 by 3 PM (PST). Bids may be delivered by hand or by mail but must be present at the deadline. Postmark date is not acceptable.
