CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY

...protecting the communities of Capitola, Live Oak and Soquel since 1987...

Central Fire Protection District of Santa Cruz County, in coordination with the Santa Cruz County Fire Chief’s Association, has been working on comprehensive Wildland Fire Structure Protection Plans for the District.  The District was divided into 12 zones where wildland fires may occur.  A specific structure protection plan was developed for each zone, as well as a safety message, medical and communications plans.  The information was then attached to the corresponding zone.  The District and its officers can use these tools for planning purposes during large scale events. Mutual and auto-aid personnel may also access the plans to assist them.   The zones can also be used to determine evacuation areas.

The plans were placed on the web-site for your edification.  The District encourages you to review the zone that you reside in and contact us should you have any questions.

The personnel of Central Fire stand ready to protect you and your homes in any type of emergency.  We will continue to look for any and all ways to assist you in the response to local emergencies.

Sincerely,

Central Fire District Staff
